What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive the details you type in the form: name, company, WhatsApp or phone number, e-mail address and message, plus the page you sent it from, the page and website that first brought you to us, and your approximate country and city (from your internet address, which itself is not stored). When you tap a WhatsApp button we note the page, the button and your approximate country, not the chat. We use this only to answer your enquiry, to follow up on the business you ask about and to see which pages help buyers. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
Services that process data for us
- Web3Forms delivers form messages to our e-mail inbox.
- Google Sheets keeps our own record of enquiries and WhatsApp button taps, readable only by VOTEN staff.
- Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) counts visits and clicks with cookies, so we can see which pages help buyers. It does not receive the content of your enquiry.
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- YouTube plays product videos only after you click one.
- WhatsApp buttons open a chat with our sales team in the WhatsApp app; WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies there.
Why we use it
We process enquiry details because you asked us to reply and, if you order, to prepare and deliver that order. Analytics cookies are used to understand which pages help buyers; you can refuse them in your browser.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and related e-mails / WhatsApp chats: for as long as we need them to answer you and handle any order that follows, and afterwards only for the period required by accounting and tax rules. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.
- Google Analytics: visit data is kept for the retention period set in our account, at most 14 months.
- Form delivery (Web3Forms): the service forwards the message to our inbox; its own retention policy applies to its copy.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the website works without them. (Besides cookies, your browser keeps a note of the page where your visit started, so that an enquiry shows how you found us; clearing site data removes it.) To see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, e-mail us and we will reply within one business day.
