Frequently asked questions
Does the X3 need a computer?
No. The monitor runs its own embedded system, so the dentist can capture, compare and save images at the chair without a PC. Images are saved as JPG files to a USB flash disk and can be copied to the clinic computer later.
What does the UV holder do?
The handpiece rests in a holder with UV light between patients. It is an extra hygiene step and a visible selling point, but it does not replace disposable sleeves and normal surface disinfection.
Can the image be shown on a larger screen?
Yes. The monitor has VGA and HDMI outputs, so the same image can be shown on a wall-mounted screen or TV in the surgery.
Can the monitor be mounted on the dental chair?
It stands on its own base on a counter or cart. For chair mounting we supply a metal monitor arm; tell us the chair model when you order.
