What is the difference between the X6 and the X5?
Screen size and input. The X6 has a 24-inch touch screen; the X5 has a 19-inch touch screen with a keyboard and mouse tray on the chair arm. Both are Windows 10 PCs with an Intel i5 processor, 8 GB memory and a 128 GB SSD, both have a built-in HD intraoral camera, and both can be connected to a digital sensor and an X-ray unit.
Can the clinic install its own imaging software?
The X6 is a Windows 10 computer, so Windows imaging software can be installed on it. If the clinic already uses a particular sensor or X-ray brand, send us the model and software name before ordering and we will confirm compatibility in writing.
Which spare parts should a distributor keep in stock?
The camera handpiece and its cable are the parts that see the most wear, followed by the power adapter. Ask for spare handpiece pricing with your first order so you can repair clinics locally instead of shipping the whole unit back.
